After more than a year of research, discussion and negotiations, the international team leading the search for a new name to describe the constellation of symptoms associated with sensitivity to radiofrequency radiation has come up with the final: Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome, or EMR Syndrome. [EMR-S]
Americans for Responsible Technology and our associated programs TechSafeSchools.org and BabySafeProject.org are proud to adopt and fully support EMR Syndrome as the new term.

Ever since Smart Meters were introduced many informed and concerned people have voiced concerns about the information gathered by these devices. The basic information is of course the amount of power used by month for billing. Gathering this billing number by a Smart Meter seems to be a huge over-kill. So what else is gathered?
