After more than a year of research, discussion and negotiations, the international team leading the search for a new name to describe the constellation of symptoms associated with sensitivity to radiofrequency radiation has come up with the final: Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome, or EMR Syndrome. Americans for Responsible Technology and our associated programs TechSafeSchools.org and BabySafeProject.org are proud to adopt and fully support EMR Syndrome as the new term.
We strongly encourage you to use EMR Syndrome in your correspondence, print materials, public statements and other outreach. A big shout-out to organizer Ruth Moss and the team that worked so hard on this project!
