We should all write to Wendy Mesley and thank her for this program. It gave a lot of info (of course, we’d always like more) that many people have never heard before. Her email address is: marketplace@cbc.ca
One member suggested that we see if she would be interested in the smeter issue. Given that she just did the show on cell phone RF, I doubt she’d look at that issue so soon, but I bet she might be interested in theprivacy issue, about which there is so much info and so many warnings.
Key Scientific Question Potential Health Effects of Our Wireless Age?
“Do long-term, low-level emissions from cell phones, Wi-Fi in schools, cell towers and smart meters cause adverse health effects?”
Clearly, they cause many biological effects.
2015, Brussels International Scientific Declaration on
EHS = Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity and
MCS = Multiple Chemical Sensitivity
“We therefore ask all national and international bodies and institutions to be aware of this critical environmental health issue and to take urgently their responsibility, more specifically WHO, updating its 2005 and 2014 statement on EHS and recognizing EHS and MCS as part of the WHO International Classification of Diseases (ICD). EHS and MCS should be represented by separate codes under the WHO ICD in order to increase awareness by the medical community and the general public; to foster research on the population that acquires these pathological syndromes; and, to train medical doctors on effective medical prevention measures and treatments.”
