1) You might remember this simple little 10 minute video about a woman suffering from EHS being exposed to Wi-Fi. If you haven’t seen it, click on the picture in the link below. It has won all sorts of awards around the world. It would seem that a lot of people saw this and cared.
Remembering Nearfield
“Because of severe Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity, Wi-Fi is the last thing she needs, along with the social discrimination against her disability. She wants solutions, not excuses. Her life matters.”
2) Sadly, for many years, the Cancer Societies have aligned themselves with industries that have been linked to cancer-causing products. Perhaps this is why they do not warn people not to use wireless devices in the homes or to give young children, even babies, smart phones.
New Report Shows Cancer Organization Shares Lobbyists with Fossil Fuel Companies
“An American Cancer Society advocacy group’s links to firms that promote carcinogen producers called “shameful” and undermining to public health….
The American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), the advocacy arm of the American Cancer Society, shares lobbyists with 21 fossil fuel companies across 10 states. Those shared relationships are impeding action on climate change and contributing to increased health harms to the public, undercutting the health organization’s own mission, according to the report by F Minus, a nonprofit group that tracks fossil fuel lobbying.”
New Report Shows Cancer Organization Shares Lobbyists with Fossil Fuel Companies
The Cancer Society has a history of ignoring science and promoting/siding with industries that are harmful. Dr. Sam Epstein accused them of having many conflicts of interests and being more interested in profit than prevention of cancer. This is from 2011 by Dr. Epstein who had “outed” the various cancer societies for many years before.
Is It Time To Boycott The American Cancer Society?
“… Little do they realize that the ACS is doing precious little to combat cancer and may not only be hindering real progress and is found to be riddles with conflicts of interest.
In a recent report titled AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY—More Interested In Accumulating Wealth Than Saving Lives, Dr. Samuel S. Epstein, chairman of the Cancer Prevention Coalition, plainly lays to bare the many conflicts of interest that hamper the effectiveness of this organization….
For example, the ACS has close financial ties to both makers of mammography equipment and cancer drugs. But that’s just for starters. Other conflicts of interest include ties to, and financial support from, the pesticide-, petrochemical-, biotech-, cosmetics-, and junk food industries—the very industries whose products are the primary contributors to cancer! ”

3) “Smart” grocery carts in a Sobey’s store. Wonder where the kids sit — probably right in front of the transmitter.
4) In this article from a Maine newspaper, a spokesman for fishermen lists many species that will be adversely impacted by the “EMF fields from the turbines”, including lobsters and shrimp. Apparently, research is still needed to learn whether the wind turbines are safe for marine life or not. This seems to be yet another case of technology being implemented with living things being guinea pigs. What about people living near wind turbines on land?

Harpswell fishing advocate battles winds of change
“Aside from bird strikes, there are two major environmental concerns with offshore wind: the underwater acoustics generated by the turbines, and the electromagnetic fields that emanate from the cables carrying their power ashore. Either or both of those phenomena could potentially disrupt the surrounding ecosystem, and scientists don’t really know by how much. It could depend heavily on how a particular project is designed and built.
A 2022 research brief, “Electromagnetic Field Effects on Marine Life,” by the U.S. Offshore Wind Synthesis of Environmental Effects Research program, states, “When in close proximity to subsea cables, some animals have demonstrated behavioral responses in a few studies, such as increased foraging and exploratory movements. So far, behavioral responses of individuals have not been determined to negatively affect a species’ population, but further research is needed to refine our understanding of the effects of EMFs on wildlife.”
