1) Thankfully, more schools are restricting use of cellphones because of distraction and mental health problems increasing in kids. Social media, harassment, etc. certainly contribute but what about constant exposure to Wi-Fi? No mention of that at all, sadly.

Schools say cellphone bans help kids
More school districts consider suing social media companies
“Proponents of bans say the inconvenient truth is that today’s teens may be ill-equipped to manage cellphone use on their own. A growing body of research frames young people’s usage of cellphones, and specifically social media, as addictive and psychologically deleterious, correlating with rising rates of depression and anxiety. Last year, the U.S. surgeon general issued an advisory warning of the effects of social media on mental health in young people….
Against that backdrop, a United Nations report from last July concluded by recommending a global ban on cellphones in schools. Around the world, almost 1 in 4 countries have introduced such bans in laws or policies. Specifically, 13% of countries have laws and 14% have policies that ban mobile phones.”

Lithium Fire Claims 2 Storey E-Bike Factory
“Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Superintendent Joshua Turner expressed concern about the potential dangers linked to lithium batteries and electricity storage units in the e-bike repair centre.
“Lithium batteries maintain a high level of heat when they’re on fire, and they don’t go out as easily as other fuel sources,” he told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
“Fire rescue is doing a lot of work in researching lithium batteries and the effect it’s going to have on firefighting in the future.”…
Meanwhile, flames surged above the powerlines near the factory as firefighters fought to contain them.”
3) More radiation direct to “smart’ devices, this from space. No way to escape it. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before we know the level of radiation these emit into the sky, affecting birds, insects, etc. as well as all living things on the ground.
SpaceX launches first set of satellites with direct-to-cell capabilities
