Canada’s Environmental Justice Strategy
Online meeting, Wednesday, October 25th at 5 pm ET, 4pm CT, 2pm PT. Registration is required.
“Join the CCECJ for an interactive conversation about the National Environmental Justice Strategy (Bill C-226) with Amanda Monforton, Director of Policy Development, Strategic Policy Branch, Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Bill C-226 requires the government to examine links between racialization, socio-economic status and environmental risks, and to develop Canada’s first national strategy on environmental racism and environmental justice. Amanda’s team is at the forefront of this policy development.
This is a unique opportunity to learn, ask questions, and offer input related to a strategy that will impact all of Canada.”

2) More phones are being withdrawn from the French marketplace after being found to exceed radiation limits. ANFR is equivalent to ISED in Canada and, thanks to Phonegate’s efforts, is becoming far more transparent than ISED. I am still fighting to get full test results. No phones have been withdrawn from the market in Canada and neither has the Canadian public been advised that many (perhaps even most) phones far exceed allowable limits when used next to the body; for example, in a pocket. All of the links are in English — just wait a few seconds. [click on “English” in top right-side box]
Withdrawal from the market and recall of EMPORIA SIMPLICITY V27 and DOOGEE S88 PLUS phones following specific absorption rate (SAR) limit values being exceeded
“The National Frequency Agency (ANFR) has requested the withdrawal from the French market of EMPORIA SIMPLICITY V27 and DOOGEE S88 PLUS telephones following an exceeding of the specific absorption rate (SAR) limit observed on these models. ANFR enjoins the companies EMPORIA and DOOGEE to implement all available means to quickly remedy this malfunction on equipment on the market as well as that already marketed. Distributors must also end their marketing….
ANFR sworn agents have been instructed to verify that these models will no longer be offered for sale in all distribution channels available in France.“
I have not spent a lot of time on this site, but there is information on cellphones that have been tested — the same information that ISED has been attempting to hide, saying it must get approval from “third parties” (e.g. the manufacturers, I suspect ). ANFR is attempting to be/appear to be transparent. This too is likely due to Phonegate’s hard and persistent work.
Welcome to the ANFR Open Data Portal
“ANFR manages the frequency spectrum, ensuring three main missions: contributing to the development of regulations and frequency planning, managing frequencies and radio sites, and controlling installations, particularly in cases of interference.Accomplishing these missions involves producing and analyzing a large amount of data, such as the location of relay antennas or measurements of electromagnetic fields.
This portal aims to list all the data published by the National Frequency Agency under a free license. It allows the entire community of users (individuals, radio amateurs, start-ups, public authorities, etc.) to access reference data on frequencies in France.”
Update by Phonegate on the number of cellphones that have been found to be non-compliant thanks to a large degree to Phonegate’s efforts
List of cell phones withdrawn or updated for deception and endangering users
“There are now 45 models of cell phones, identified as dangerous to the health of users, which have been either withdrawn from the French market or have seen their Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) updated by software. The latest: the DOOGEE S88, the EMPORIA simplicity V27, the Iphone 12, the Motorola Edge, the Essential Clap 20+ (you have until June 30, 2023 to bring it back to Boulanger), the Xiaomi Poco X3 and the Logicom Le Swipe.”

3) FCC gave approval to make it easier for people to wear microwave radiation-emitting devices, saying “The FCC expects it will “spur an eco-system of cutting-edge applications.” These devices, no doubt, will appeal especially to children and teenagers who are among the most vulnerable to this radiation. The industry says this is “a shining example of a government regulator working with industry early to build for the future.” Shameful that the FCC is concerned about helping wireless businesses before it has responded to the court order regarding the scientific evidence supporting maintenance of current guidelines.
Meta, Apple and Google cheer FCC ruling that could pave the way for new AR and VR applications
“The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday agreed to open a band of spectrum for some devices in a move that could help pave the way for new applications of augmented and virtual reality wearables…
The FCC expects it will “spur an eco-system of cutting-edge applications, including wearable technologies and augmented and virtual reality, that will help businesses, enhance learning opportunities, advance healthcare opportunities, and bring new entertainment experiences,” according to a press release.
