1) One of the “benefits” of smeters is that utilities can charge different rates for energy used at different times of the day. BC Hydro, in its business case, identified this as a benefit and this was one of the first parts of the project that ITRON completed. This type of billing is especially cruel for those who can least afford it: those at home all day — young families, seniors, and the disabled — who need heat in the winter and AC in the summer.
Evergy asks Missouri regulators to let customers opt out of time-of-use pricing
“Evergy is expected under an order from the Missouri Public Service Commission to implement time-of-use pricing, which places a premium on electricity prices at times of high demand, starting next month.
This summer, as customers were asked to select one of the new plans, Evergy saw blowback from those concerned their bills would skyrocket. Under one of the plans, power used on summer days between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. — when residents are most likely to be using their air conditioners — would be almost four times as expensive as the rest of the day….
The commission initially instructed Evergy to implement mandatory time-of-use pricing because while the company has been installing smart meters in customers homes for years, most of the benefits, including being able to remotely disconnect customers who haven’t paid their bills, have flowed to the utility.”

2) An excellent article by Patricia Burke in which she has provided some of the many articles written about the banning of Apple’s iPhone 12 that was announced recently. It is discouraging that every article that I’ve read includes statements from industry people and industry-affiliated “researchers” giving false information in support of RF radiation, wireless devices and the inadequate, thermal-based guidelines. An example:
The truth and science-based guidelines would result in reduced profit but isn’t health more important than $$$$? Apparently, agencies like FCC, Health Canada and ISED don’t think so.
Cell Phones and Fate; A 2023 Phonegate Update
“For how much longer will consumers enable an industry (and its regulators) that flaunt supposed “safety guidelines” and ignore and/or deny reported harm? Will European customers demand scrutiny, for example, for cell phones in the hands of children? …
Reporting for the Sun, Millie Turner wrote, “Millions of iPhone owners warned over radiation levels as France BANS popular model” “However, it’s important to note that if you’re based in the UK or the US,” or Canada “the sale ban and potential recall is unlikely to affect you.“
Therein lies a huge issue for American and British” (and Canadian) “consumers, who may not be affected by a recall but who are biological beings, for whom current cell phone testing protocols are unscientific and irrelevant.

3) From Total EMF Solutions, about one of the Q-Link products. I have had people ask for my opinion about spending hundreds of dollars for a pendant or some other Q-Link or Q-Link-type product that promises to reduce or eliminate EMF. There are a lot of scams out there because people are looking for protection.
“Just a short video from a client’s home. May have felt like a nimbus after spending a couple of hundred bucks on a product that, in reality, creates a toxic environment.
Q-Link SRT-3 Nimbus Creates Dirty Electricity
The Nimbus can generate dirty electricity frequencies throughout the home, not just the 30 feet that is advertised.
“Plug Nimbus in to any USB port or hub to instantly generate a 30 foot (9.14m) omni-directional field of SRT-3. Ideal for computer users, home/office/work environments, students, classrooms, IT professionals, designers, creative minds and others.”
