1) Students in some schools realize that not having a cell phone all day in class isn’t all that bad and, in fact, might have some benefits.

Get Phones Out of Schools Now
They impede learning, stunt relationships, and lessen belonging.
“Even many of the students arriving for sixth grade, coming out of elementary school, were already anxious and depressed. And many, already, were addicted to their phone.
To the teachers and administrators I spoke with, this wasn’t merely a coincidence. They saw clear links between rising phone addiction and declining mental health, to say nothing of declining academic performance.
A common theme in my conversations with them was: We all hate the phones. Keeping students off of their devices during class was a constant struggle. Getting students’ attention was harder because they seemed permanently distracted and congenitally distractible. Drama, conflict, bullying, and scandal played out continually during the school day on platforms to which the staff had no access….
“It helped me a lot,” one student at San Mateo High School in California told NBC News after her school started using lockable pouches. “Before, I would usually just like curl over in the side of my desk, and, like, check my phone and text everyone. But now there’s no other thing for us to look at or do except for talk to our teacher or pay attention.”

2) One more example of the connection between government and industry — this time, ISED to Rogers. This smells to high heaven. You have to wonder what he did to prove his ability and value to Rogers — just as any new person must do to show he/she is qualified for the job.
Former industry minister Navdeep Bains gets Rogers job, sparking criticism | CBC News
“Former Liberal industry minister Navdeep Bains is joining Rogers as the company’s new chief corporate affairs officer, pushing critics to sound the alarm on a perceived politics-to-industry pipeline.”

3) For many decades, people have become ill after exposure to microwave radiation or radiation sickness. But most of those people were in the military or victims of attacks, like Havana Syndrome. But now, we’re all exposed and the number of people with EHS and other effects has increased drastically.
Dr. Magda Havas has 1,000s of studies done by the US government on her website. Some extraordinary reading.

The Unsettling Rise of Microwave Syndrome
“A 1981 report prepared for NASA had already warned of adverse effects from microwave radiation….
Microwave radiation’s health effects have long been debated, with industry-funded studies often concluding no link between exposure and health. Randomized human studies are lacking due to ethical considerations, but prospective studies on humans, and animal and cell studies suggest potentially harmful biological effects. Naval Medical Research In 1971, researchers at the Naval Medical Research Institute published a report on the biological effects of electromagnetic fields, including radio frequency and microwave radiation (pdf). The report examined their effects on humans, animals, and cells.”
4) From Kate Kheel re HR-3557 in the USA. We have to take note and prepare for the same battle here.
Actions you can take to oppose HR-3557:
“…The following text basically gives telecom companies the right to place or modify WTFs (wireless telecommunication facilities) anywhere at all…virtually no restrictions would apply. “…request is for authorization to place, construct, or modify such facility using an existing structure, including with respect to an area that has not previously been zoned for personal wireless service facilities.””
