2021-07-05 Shocking truth about base stations

1) A proposed motion will be brought to a Green Party forum which, if accepted, will be presented at the conference as a possible amendment to their policy. There is a Zoom meeting scheduled for Saturday, July, 10, 10:00am PDT-11:30 am PDT to discuss this. We desperately need to get political support for an agenda that will reduce the proliferation of wireless radiation, especially from the 5G grid. The entire proposal and full details are in Letters. The proposal is:

The GPC advocates for a Canada-wide, comprehensive, coordinated, high speed, broadband internet access strategy that uses fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) technologies whenever possible, instead of wireless technologies, including 5G; and adopts the ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principle for wireless radiation exposures.”

Please consider attending to support this important motion. Registration is required.

2) Mona Nilsson has exposed many “experts” with conflicts of interest and continues to report on the lies and corruption that have been, and continue to be, hidden from the public about cell towers and other wireless technology. Remember: when you speak to a politician, to a health authority, to a representative of a telecom, to a school trustee — there is no study, NOT ONE, that has ever shown that EMF is safe.

Over and over we’ve asked Health Canada and our own Provincial Health Officers, including Dr. Bonnie Henry and Dr. Perry Kendall before her, to support their assertions that cell phones, cell towers, Wi-Fi in schools are safe. They say as much on their websites — but they refuse to respond when asked for one study to support their statements. They, like the “ICNIRP experts”, are not being honest and are failing to protect the public.

This article is in Swedish but can be translated.

“The truth about the risks of radiation from base stations is shocking”

There is no research which shows that it does not pose a health hazard to be chronically exposed throughout the body to levels of microwave radiation that have now become commonplace from 3G, 4G or 5G base stations. It is the shocking truth that is hidden from the public….

Ericsson, for example, reported a couple of years ago that it would be virtually impossible to expand 5G if the reference value were 100 times lower, in line with the limit value that applied in Eastern Europe as early as the 1960s and, for example, in Switzerland and Italy….

I urge everyone to ask the crucial critical questions to the authorities. Require evidence on the table that long-term exposure to 5G, 4G and 3G in combination does not pose health hazards.Require papers on the table about which studies of long-term full-body exposure to 3G, 4G and 5G show that the reference value is relevant as protection against health hazards associated with long-term full-body exposure to radiation from base stations.”

3) A campaign to let the CRTC Chair know we know what is going on. A polite invite for a beer will influence his decisions? I doubt that is all, but it’s worth a try.

Advocate for a National Internet Access Strategy that Prioritizes Environmental and Human Health

Proposal Type

Submitter Name

Lori Curran

The GPC advocates for a Canada-wide, comprehensive, coordinated, high speed, broadband internet access strategy that uses fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) technologies whenever possible, instead of wireless technologies, including 5G; and adopts the ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principle for wireless radiation exposures.

To apply the Precautionary Principle regarding ubiquitous non-natural electromagnetic radiation (nnEMR) such as radiofrequency radiation from cell tower network antennas, microcells (including 5G small antennas), smart meters, WiFi, and satellites by using wired technologies whenever possible. Science demonstrates that nnEMR below current safety guidelines can harm human health and wildlife.

Minimizing wireless radiation would reduce risk to human and environmental health. Wired fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) connections are more safe, resilient, reliable, and secure than wireless technologies. Fibre is more energy efficient and long-lasting and does not interfere with weather forecasting or astronomy research.

Supporting Comments from Submitter

The Green Party of California recently called for their government representatives to move forward with safer alternatives to 5G and reduce exposures as per the ALARA principle.

European green parties are speaking out about implications of excessive wireless technology for climate change and other concerns.

Green party members of the European Parliament recently outlined conflicts of interest in two organizations that Health Canada considers authorities for setting its radiofrequency exposure guidelines.

Subject: July 10th Zoom Discussion Forum for your 2021 Policy Motion
Hello All
Thus far 3 policy motions are slated for discussion on July 10th from 1pm EDT – 2:30pm EDT. It is possible another policy motion may be added to the list.
  • G21-P028-  Advocate for a National Internet Access Strategy that Prioritizes Environmental and Human Health
  • G21-P031-  Enacting National Standards/Dedicated Funding for Urgent Improvements in Long-Term Care Homes
  • G21-P032- Nationalise Long-Term Care
How the session will be organized:
    • The submitters of the proposals scheduled for the session, or their delegates will provide brief summaries of their proposals, answering some basic questions to help members understand the reasons why they are making their motions and how their adoption will solve a problem and benefit the party. Each submitter will have 2-3 minutes to speak. (total time allotted 15 min)

    • Then, breakout groups will be formed, one for each proposal being included in the session. Each submitter or their delegate will lead the discussion for one proposal in a breakout room. Participants in the sessions will be rotated from room to room in 15-20 min intervals such that they can participate in the discussions of all the proposals in that session if they choose to. Please note that should the proposal submitters wish, the entire meeting may remain in plenary. (total time allotted 60 min)

    • At the end of the breakout session, all participants will be moved to the plenary and each discussion lead (submitter or their delegate) will summarize the main points arising from the discussion. Each submitter will have 2-3 minutes to speak. (total time allotted 15 min)

    • Should discussions result in ideas for friendly amendments to be moved from the floor at the convention, the submitter and the proponent of the amendment will connect after the workshop for further discussion and drafting

Please spread the word about your sessions. As volunteers, we do not have access to a members email list or contact information. The GPC has indicated it will send an email to members on Tuesday July 6th but that really doesn’t leave much time for communication of the sessions.
